APSET 2020 Notification: The full form of APSET is Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test. So, the Andhra University, Vishakapatnam on the behalf of Andhra Pradesh Government will organize the APSET every year. The main reason for releasing the Andhra Pradesh SET 2020 is to give the jobs of Assistant Professors or Lecturers in various government faculties in the Andhra Pradesh state. Recently at the official web portal www.andhrauniversity.edu.in, the Notification has been out. From 14th August 2020 onwards the Online Applications will begin. The closing date is 19th September 2020. In between the mentioned dates, all the contenders have to finish their application procedures.

Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test is the State Eligibility Test that conducted once a year. In the beneath sections, we have completely attached the mandatory information. Eligibility Criteria
- The contenders must finish the Master’s degree with a minimum of 55% marks
- If in case the student is attending in the exams for this year then they should get their degree within 2 years of the exam
- Also, Ph. D. degree people who have completed their Post Graduation course by September 1991 are also eligible for 5% relaxation
- There is no upper age limit for applying
- So, the students who have qualified lately in the AP SET / UGC NET are not suitable to apply for the same subject that they qualified
- All the qualified contenders are suitable to apply for the Assistant Professor post only in the Colleges/ Universities that situated in the state of AP from where they have cleared their SET.

APSET Exam Date 2020
On 6th September 2020, the Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test has been conducted by the AU. So, all the enrolled candidates have to take the exam on the stated date.
